These are the youngsters lining up to make the jump to the NRL level at their club.

While most will have to wait until 2024 to make their NRL debut, a handful of prodigies will make the jump early following the massive all-star break for the final round of the 2023 regular season.

Brisbane’s Blake Mozer is the best of Queensland’s NRL prospects and the crafty hooker will make his debut against the Melbourne Storm on Thursday.

Like Mozer, Storm talent Sualauvi Faalogo will make his long-awaited Storm debut wearing the number 14 jersey. Fellow Melbourne youngster Jack Howarth will substitute on the bench.

Tom Weaver on the Titans has been so impressive in both of his caps that many have pointed to him as the club’s long-term running back.

Yet to debut but with a top-30 contract in 2024, Dragons rising center Savelio Tamale will be looking to impress Shane Flanagan as the new manager looks to rebuild the roster in Wollongong.

At Newcastle, fullback Jermaine McEwen is vying for a 2024 NRL start after veteran striker Lachlan Fitzgibbon confirmed he will leave the Knights at the end of the year.

Ricky Stuart kept fullback Xavier Savage on the ice, but the manager is expected to hasten Chevy Stewart’s rise to the NRL side as the Raiders will have to rely on makeshift number 1 Seb Kris this season.

The likes of center Richard Penisini and prop Sam Tuivati are expected to complete their first full NRL pre-season in the coming months in Parramatta.
