The season two premiere date and teaser for ‘Loki’, one of Marvel’s most eagerly awaited television programmes starring Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief himself, have been announced. Following the cliffhanger of season one, the ensemble reunites for a multi-temporal adventure with intriguing new cast members including Ke Huy Quan.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting new details about the second season, you can finally watch the trailer (which already has over eleven million views on YouTube) ahead of the series’ release on October 6, 2023.

What does “Loki” concern?

Following Loki’s escape from the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Tom Hiddleston’s portrayal of the comic book character in the Marvel series “Loki” continues. Loki is taken to the Time Variance Authority (TVA), where he joins their search for another version of himself. He meets Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), a different version of himself, while working for the TVA.

The events that the many Lokis set into motion led to the liberation of Kang, He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), and season one concluded on a cliffhanger. Loki has been travelling across time, according to the second season’s trailer, and he and Mobius go out on an adventure to stop it while seeing familiar characters like Sylvie and Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) along the way.

When will ‘Loki’ season 2 be released?

On October 6, 2023, “Loki” season two will make its Disney+ debut. Following the debut, fresh episodes will air every Friday; the new season will consist of six episodes.

Where can I stream ‘Loki’?

“Loki” will stream in its entirety on Disney+—you can sign up for Disney+ starting at $7.99 per month with ads, or bundle with Hulu for just $9.99 per month.

Cast of ‘Loki’

The majority of the original cast will return for the series, according to the latest ‘Loki’ trailer, however it’s not always obvious whether actors will play their original parts given the multiverse-based structure of the story. In the teaser, actors including Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as B-15, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Jonathan Majors as Kang (or a variation thereof), and others can be seen. Newcomers like Ke Huy Quan as OB are also included.
